Performmaster’s Mercedes-Benz G805 Poses With Widebody Kit And 805 HP

Performmaster has just unveiled its latest Mercedes-AMG G63-based project and for those G-Class owners wanting to make a statement, it should do the trick.

The tuner dubs its modified G63 the ‘G805’ and started off work by developing a striking widebody kit. This new bodykit adds 10 mm to the track of the G63 and gives it an even more aggressive look, thanks in no small part to a front fascia that includes a distinctive grille with a Performmaster badge and a unique bumper with carbon fiber air intakes and a carbon fiber splitter.

Elsewhere, the G805 has been equipped with a distinctive hood with large air intakes and now sports carbon fiber wheel arch extensions. Other modifications include running boards with LED entry lights, a new rear bumper with carbon fiber parts, and a large carbon fiber spoiler stretching off from the roof.

Performmaster has also worked on the G-Class’ interior with additional Alcantara and leather trimmings.

Attention was then turned to the SUV’s performance. New turbochargers were added to the 4.0-liter V8 and an in-house PEC tuning module was also fitted. As a result, the G805 (as you might have guessed from its name) is now pumping out 805 hp and 752 lb-ft (1,020 Nm) of torque, pretty significant gains over the 585 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of the stock model. The tuner quotes a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.69 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h (162 mph).

Pricing details haven’t been announced but all of Performmaster’s upgraded parts are TÜV approved in Germany.

An Electric Fiat Multipla Was Once Sold In China By The Now-Bankrupt Zotye

The Fiat Multipla is considered by many as one of the ugliest cars in the world but it has also been loved for ingenious features like the six-seater cabin layout and the incredibly airy interior – especially for such a compact footprint. The Smart EQ Forfour Is Reportedly Dead After Production Ended In December

The smart EQ forfour, which is the four-door longer-wheelbase model and a sibling to the Renault Twingo , went out of production in December according to a report from  Electrive . This means that smart is among the automakers with the smallest range, since it is only offering the eq fortwo in coupé and cabrio forms. The first generation smart forfour was sold between 2004 and 2006. The supermini based on the Mitsubishi Colt, was smart’s first four-door model. After a long hiatus, smart unveiled the second generation  forfour  in 2014, which became a longer derivative of the popular fortwo. The  fully electric versions followed in 2017, and in 2019, smart became an all-electric brand by unveiling the facelifted  EQ fortwo/forfour and discontinuing the ICE-powered models.
